Credenhill Summer Carnival was held at the Community centre on 24th August, with a wide variety of activities for children and adults. We were based in the indoor hall, with craft stalls, a candyfloss machine,  and interactive children’s activities involving fruit, biscuits and icing.  The outside area, hosted space for a dog show, and children’s fancy dress competition.

We were invited by the local knitting group, so we had plenty of opportunities to display completed knitted jumpers, offer patterns and promote the Teddy Trust.

Guess the name of the large Teddy Bear  (These are too big and expensive send) is a useful way to generate money towards shipping costs, besides being a fun game for all ages.

We had lots of useful conversations and plan to return in the autumn for a more formal talk in the hall
