SYRIA

Donations to Syria are currently on hold, due to the political situation.

Beginning in 2015 when we sent 12,500 teddy bears to the Syria Relief and Development (SRD) organisation, we have since sent three more shipments of over 10,000 teddy bears every year, our last one being in November 2019.

The SRD provide emergency humanitarian relief and sow the seeds of sustainable development for the people of Syria.

Our teddy bears are sent via Turkey and on into Syria where they are given to thousands of children who continue to suffer the appalling trauma of war, hunger and the loss of families and friends.

Teddy bears from the Teddy Trust reached northwest Syria and were distributed all throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing smiles to many children in the cities of Idleb and Aleppo. In this photo, Farhan, whose name literally means happy in Arabic ☺️, is 6 years old and lives in Shbiran displacement camp in the Albab district. You can see from the joy in his face, that these bears have brought a smile and lots of love 🥰 to children in Syria! Amany

A smile to their face and the idea that somewhere out there, another child is thinking of them and sending them love during such a difficult time in their life.
