We would love to receive any friendly, cuddly soft teddy bear, (without an internal mechanism for customs reasons) that can bring comfort to a child in distress. Here are some examples of what we like to send, we are mindful that a child will receive just one teddy bear so we want it to be as lovely as possible.

Knitted/crocheted toys are outside our guidelines and we are unable to accept them.

Yes please, that would be wonderful.  Teddy bears need to be clean and in good condition.

We prefer teddy bears to be between 8 and 15 inches approximately.

Not necessarily, we welcome clean pre-loved, friendly, cuddly teddy bears in good condition.

Sadly we don’t have the resources to collect teddy bears. We are a very small charity relying on the generosity of volunteers for everything we do and we’re not able to collect teddy bears from locations other than those listed. An on-line parcel delivery service such as droppoint can offer you very economical shipping at less than £6 for a box up to 10kg. Please take a look at our how to send teddy bears page for details.

No. We are only able to collect Teddy Bears from the drop off points listed on our how to send teddy bears page. Perhaps you could consider shipping them directly to us at the Teddy Trust. There is a link to droppoint parcel delivery service on our how to send teddy bears page which you may find helpful.

We send thousands of teddy bears every year to children in distress around the world.  In the years we have been operating, we’ve sent teddy bears to Syria, Kurdistan, Malawi, Turkey, South Africa, Fiji and Harare in Zimbabwe.

We also hope to send teddy bears to Afghanistan and Ghana.  We are always looking for ways to expand our reach by working with other charities in areas where our teddy bears can do some good, so please contact us if you are interested in working together.

Unfortunately not. We sort all teddy bears and box them ready for shipping and because we work with other charities around the world, sending thousands of teddy bears every year, there is no way of explicitly tracking where your teddy bear goes.  We update our website and Facebook pages regularly with news and photos of children receiving our teddy bears.
