On Saturday 10th January 2026 Burghill Brownies held a charity event. Three of the children were completing their badge so needed to be involved in raising money for an outside charity. Activities (chosen by the girls) included guess the number of sweets in a jar, decorate a home made Teddy Bear shaped biscuit, and individualise a Teddy Bear shaped badge.  Besides refreshments, people were also able to take part in a tombola, browse a children book table, try a lucky dip and purchase a raffle ticket

The Teddy Trust contributed a large Teddy Bear (very expensive to send overseas) for people to guess the height. The winner guessed the exact correct height which was measured on the day.

A good day with over £120 being raised for Teddy Trust,  More importantly we were able to chat with everyone about the Teddy Trust
