Sodexo at Hereford County Hospital is working with the Teddy Trust to collect more lovely Teddy Bears in the next 2 months to send to traumatised children living overseas.

‘The Change a Child’s World’ poster reinforces the need to donate Teddy Bears rather than other soft toys.  Information about the campaign has been circulated to hospital staff by Sodexo, and posters displayed in the wards.

So far, we have collected over a 100 Teddy Bears with more arriving daily.  Staff can leave Teddy Bears at Sodexo main office within the Estate department. We anticipate patients and their relatives will leave Teddy Bears in the ward or at the main reception.

Once the Teddy Trust board is in reception by the shop, we expect more Teddy Bears as people capture the vision.

The first 400 Teddy Bears will leave for Cape Town at the end of September with the next 400 going to Central Ukraine in early October.

It is wonderful to be working with Sodexo as one of their 3 chosen charities for the year.
