A damp start to the Bears, Beasts and Tales event at Queenswood Country Park on 2nd August, but many children with their families enjoyed the day, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust erected gazebos so that the stall holders were dry and many children with wellingtons splashed in the puddles with glee.  Our competitions included ‘Find Pooh Bear’s friends’  and guess the name of the very large Teddy Bear. Our Chairman with the loudhailer announced the winner.

We also met some of the Down to the Woods cast as they entertained the children trying to prevent Goldilocks from stealing the porridge.

It is often a pleasure to collaborate with other Herefordshire based organisations
