Janet’s family were planning her 90th Birthday Party in Saxilby.  Instead of presents she asked her Birthday lunch guests to bring a Teddy Bear which could be donated to the Teddy Trust. Each guest was sent details of the Trust and requirements for the Bears.

This morning we opened 4 boxes containing 60 lovely Teddy Bears.  They will leave mid February for Ethiopia to be hugged by traumatised children experiencing food hardship, via PhysioNet (a charity which sends reconditioned hospital equipment such a wheelchairs and Zimmer frames)

Janet’s guests obviously listened to her request.
