The Homestead is very grateful to The Teddy Trust UK and the Sea Point Rotary Club for its kind donation of 74 teddy bears. Donations-in-kind, such as yours, are hugely valuable to our Organisation as they ease the burden of our operational budget. You help The Homestead in our upliftment of over 600 vulnerable and neglected children.

Homestead staff continue to dedicate time and effort to ensuring that children who have been utterly neglected, and worse, will be able to overcome trauma and anxiety. Our programmes ensure that these beneficiaries will be strengthened toward stable adolescence and eventual security.

It is inevitable that in our field of work, Homestead staff and beneficiaries experience many challenges, almost daily. The locations of our projects are subject to poverty, unemployment, crime, gang influences, etc. But despite this difficult backdrop, our children and their families are served with patience and determination as they grow toward a better tomorrow.
