For several years people in Kingsland have taken part in a competition to decide who can grow the heaviest potato in a grow bag. This year 20 adults and 3 children entered the competition.

Any profit will benefit the Teddy Trust this year

We now wait to see who wins when the potatoes are weighed later this year.

The entries will be judged at The Grand Weighin for adults, winner has their name engraved on and keeps The Silver Spade for 12 months and The Children‘s  entries ( bags of crisps all round !) ,on August Bank Holiday Monday 26th August at 6 pm at The Angel Inn, Kingsland
