A message from Port Elizabeth

This container has eventually been offloaded.

After some stressful days of waiting for the container to be cleared, we eventually took ownership of the contents yesterday.
We had a team quickly unpacking as we had hours before it had to be returned to the MSC yard.

We did it in a record 2 1/2 hours – but this was with a whole team ! How you men packed it is a testimony to determination and your caring spirit.

We have not even begun the process of selection for these wonderful donations – our team has drafted compliancy forms to ensure that the goods go to where they are needed the most.

The bears were completely fed up with the long journey but a few hours in the African sun will have them back in high spirits – ready to spread joy and love.

I speak on behalf of the entire Rotary Club of Algoa Bay when I say how eternally grateful I am for being selected for this incredible donation of equipment and goods.

We have been doing some good fundraising to cover the costs and it has brought the club together.
