On 20th June 2026 the Teddy Trust was invited to have a stall at Belmont Abbey Garden Fete in Hereford. Father Ansrlm  opened the proceeding with a long red ribbon across the entrance.

Lots of happy families, running races and face painting for the children and tea, cakes and strawberries for adults amongst other things. Our competition ‘Guess the name of the large Teddy Bear’ (too big for a child to carry around easily) was appreciated especially by the prize winners

We had many useful conversations about the Teddy Trust and were able to encourage people to donate ‘Teddy tears only’ at our collection points in Hereford – HVOSS and the Children’s Bookshop.

Never underestimate the healing power of Teddy
