These children are often acutely sick and sometimes arrive with very few possessions. A Teddy Bear can be a real comfort

If a child is in pain but can’t say where they hurt a big Teddy Bear can be used as the child is often able to point on the Teddy Bear where they are hurting, hence the 2 big Teddy Bears in the admissions unit
